MW non-linear junction detector (NLJD) is used for search and location of electronic devices both in active and switch-off state.

The detector operation is based on the property of semiconductor components to generate a response at the 2d and 3d harmonics when radiated by a microwave probing signal.

Semiconductor components of artificial origin will have a higher level second harmonic while semiconductor components of natural origin (e.g. oxide films) will have a higher level third harmonic respectively.

An NLJD analyzes the 2d and 3d harmonics response of the radiated objects, which enables a quick and reliable identification of electronic devices and natural oxide semiconductors.

The NLJD automatically finds the best receiving frequency channel free of noise and distortion providing flawless operation even in the complicated electromagnetic environment. Digital processing of a demodulated signal used gives maximum sensitivity.

A high gain parabolic antenna (20 dB gain at 3600 MHz) used in the device increases detection range of non-linear elements and provides their exact localization in space. For operator’s convenience the detector is equipped with a laser pinpointing to indicate the place to which the maximum power of the probing signal is directed.

The Handheld Device For Contactless Detection Of Flammable And Explosive Liquids Inside Sealed Containers (Bottle Screening)

The device enables checking of the contents of various vessels such as plastic and glass bottles, cardboard packages and other nonmetallic containers. It provides detection of flammable and explosive liquids without violation of container sealing. It can be used by security and law-enforcement services at the airports, check-points, places of a mass congestion of people (stadiums, discos), etc. The device allows contactless distinguishing of such substances as gasoline, incendiary mixtures, acetone, nitroglycerine, various spirits, ethers and other dangerous liquids from water, nonalcoholic and alcoholic drinks (including strong), dairy products, etc.

The latest version of software allows testing more than 800 different liquids, the parameters of which are used as a database to compare with the measured values.

The device does not require any adjustment or preparation. Its usage is very simple. It is necessary to bring the sensor of the device to a lateral surface of a vessel below a level of a liquid and to press the button. The green light of the indicator shows that a liquid inside a vessel is not flammable. The red signal and audible alarm indicate potential danger of contents.

Brief Description

As a vehicle proceeds through the sampling arch the pulsating air blast from the air knives  strips explosive  traces  from  the  car  outer  surface  and  moves  the  entrained traces and any vapours present to the collector bags. The sample is then moved to the  cyclone  separator  where  any  explosive  particulates  present  are  separated  and trapped by the pre-concentrator.

The vehicle stops until the analysis period is complete and the second traffic control system advises the driver to exit. If an explosive is detected visual and audio alarms are available. The sample and analysis process is about 20 seconds and the overall vehicle processing time is about 30 seconds.
The detector system incorporates patented GC-IMS-CL technology as well as an automated sample pre-concentration system. The GC-IMS- CL platform allows rapid processing of samples and incorporates multiple detection methods to enhance selectivity and to provide the ruggedness needed in hostile environments. Sensitivities for vehicle borne explosives range for low ppb to ppt levels or low nanograms for solids. Results demsonstrate the systems success in detecting TNT, dynamite, taggants and ammonium nitrate.

“NORKA” is unique portable X-ray inspection system with a minifocus and microfocus constant potential X-ray source. The voltage can be adjusted from 20 to 160kV. This allows inspecting objects made from different materials with varying density and thickness (20-70kV is the optimal voltage for checking mail and thin objects, while 100-160kV works best for baggage and thick objects). One of the advantages of this system is its ability to inspect areas of an object in fine detail using geometric magnification (up to 40 times).

Dual energy option allows recognizing organic and inorganic objects.

The images are reproduced on a display screen of the control unit in a positive / negative form, pseudo colours, with enhanced contrast or in dual energy mode. Zooming in on any of nine areas of the screen allows better identification. Obtained images can be stored in the control unit’s memory for further investigation or as a reference (up to 30,000 images). Stored images can also be edited and provided with additional text, graphics and voice information.
